If The Gods Knew has become a protest against the strong forces on the earth (and amongst humanity) that misuse religion to gain other goals than usually is healthy for mankind. Nowadays we see almost everyday the outbursts of violence from one religion against another. Such a shame… I guess we, as mankind, have come to a point that we can ask ourselves if religion is a healthy form of meditation or has it become the final reason for Armageddon.
In simple words: what a stupid reason to hit each other on the head…..
And I still wake up sometimes and wonder: what a mess and how long will this be going on.

Waking up, I never understood... why we got caught up in this mess
Still this is world is bleeding from the edge, while we sit and watch it close at hand

Desperation crawling round my head, and will we ever see?
While dynamite is wrapped around those victimized religious minds...
And if the Gods knew how to cry, then would it rain...yeah...
If the Gods knew how to cry, then would it rain.

Breaking news, tell me something good, sorry dear, emotional distress
Still this world is willing to take a pledge, while we sit and watch it close at hand

Desperation dripping of my skin, and will we ever see?
Bombing buildings, slicing heads presented on the big wide web...
And if the Gods knew how to cry, then would it rain..yeah..
If the Gods knew how to cry, then would it rain.

And if it all, comes down to the life we share
And If it all, comes down to being a millionaire
And if it all, comes down to a chill in the air
And if it all, comes down to being exposed and bare
And if the Gods knew how to cry, would it rain
Would it rain, mmmmmmmm, would it rain
Would it rain, yeayeahiyeahehiyeah...
