| The Band
originated from the seventies. The guys, being just kids
and playing in trees and huts, started forming a band
because it seemed just a good idea. |
|
 |
One (BJ) was playing the organ and the
other (Reno) was playing drums. So what else was there to
do than that somebody should start playing the guitar. We
are talking about John Havermans (BJ, organ), Reno de Bruin
(drums) and John Geel (learning guitar). Later on a bass player
joined in and there you have: a band, called the Spitfires
a name thrown in the trashcan after a year, to be replaced
by Eternity.
Anyhow they split up after having a great time in their tens.
Now 25 years after the split up it all just started again
with doing studio work back in 2002.

Their first album
is coming out in July 2003 and is called: Did
I Ever Tell you?
It contains 10 songs, 5 old ones and 5 new ones, although the
difference between the old ones and the new ones is not that
great, the good listener can feel the seventies vibes from the
old ones.
Each member has contributed his own lines to the
story of the band so read on and enjoy.
